Born in 1946. He was inspired by maga-tama (curved beads appearing in ancient time in Japan) while studying at Nihon University Department of Veterinary and Medicine. After that, he started his own creative work. While he made accessories for a living, he also held original jewellery exhibitions in Japan and also overseas. The British Museum bought 3 jewelleries, those designs are based on the Japanese culture thus epoch-making pieces. Currently, he established the art museum at Yatsugatake mountain in Yamanashi pref., and keeps creating wearable art pieces.
